Ritual cauldrons were made of copper or bronze and possibly could also be used as singing bowls besides being containers for fluids and incense. In ancient Welsh and Irish Gaelic texts they represented the generation of magical blessings from the motion powers (emotional and astrological).
The Welsh Gaelic word for Cauldron is "crochan." The /kr/ sound in the Celtic words indicates its word lineage different from Latin. The Welsh word comes from the Akkadian phrase K-R'-Ḫ-AN meaning "Involved with Shepherding of Hu's Considerations" where "considerations are focused emotions used in emotion magic. "Cauldron Of Poesy" Was Written in Druid Akkadian

(October 13, 2024, updated October 26, 2024) This tale was found copied within a book of law. It was given the title of "Caldron of Poesy" by its first translator. Its most authoritative translation comes from 1981 and was done by the scholar Liam Breatnach. All later and popular translations are based upon his work. He suggested this tale should be called "The Three Cauldrons of Poetry and Knowledge."

Liam Breatnach divided the tale into 16 paragraphs. Yet he could not translate the existing text so he "corrected" it which is a major sin in modern linguistics.  Liam Breatnach provided a translation of the main text which he calls a "restored" text. At least his article still provided the original text for comparison. Another problem with Liam Breatnach's "restored" translation is that it uneasily mixes Latin in with the Celtic known from later texts. This indicates the restoration is not even plausible.

The English word "cauldron" comes from Latin calidarium meaning "hot bath," and from calidus meaning "warm, hot."

Dating

This text was written during a drought. Severe European wide, multiyear, droughts occurred in the years: 40, 590, 950 and 1510 CE (Büntgen, and all 2021, Warner, 1993). The drought referenced in this text probably dates to 590 CE. 

Liam Breatnach and other Gaelic linguists date the tale to the end of the 800's CE although the law book in which is was found dates to 1539. Yet the original seems to go back to 590 CE as that is the last major prior drought recorded in Ireland from tree ring data. The Gaelic linguist's date derives from the fact that they cannot translate it so it has to be 900 CE or earlier.

Early Christian Ireland began after the country emerged from a mysterious decline in population and standards of living that archaeological evidence suggests lasted from c. 100 to 300 AD. During this period, called the Irish Dark Age by Thomas Charles-Edwards, the population was entirely rural and dispersed, with small ringforts the largest centres of human occupation. Some 40,000 of these are known, although there may have been as many as 50,000, and "archaeologists are agreed that the vast bulk of them are the farm enclosures of the well-to-do of early medieval Ireland". 

The first reliable historical event in Irish history, recorded in the Chronicle of Prosper of Aquitaine, is the ordination by Pope Celestine I of Palladius as the first bishop to Irish Christians in 431 – which demonstrates that there were already Christians living in Ireland. Prosper says in his Contra Collatorem that by this act Celestine "made the barbarian island Christian", although it is clear the Christianisation of the island was a longer and more gradual process. The mission of Saint Patrick is traditionally dated around the same time – the earliest date for his arrival in Ireland in the Irish annals is 432 – although Patrick's own writings contain nothing securely dateable. It is likely that Palladius' activities were in the south of Ireland, perhaps associated with Cashel, while Patrick's were later, in the north, and associated with Armagh.

By the early 6th century the church had developed separate dioceses, with bishops as the most senior ecclesiastical figures, but the country was still predominantly pagan. The High Kings of Ireland continued pagan practices until the reign of Diarmait mac Cerbaill c. 558, traditionally the first Christian High King. The monastic movement, headed by abbots, took hold in the mid 6th century, and by 700 Ireland was at least nominally a Christian country, with the church fully part of Irish society. The status of ecclesiastics was regulated by secular law, and many leading ecclesiastics came from aristocratic Irish families. Monasteries in the 8th century even went to war with each other.

Control the emotion-owls of those moon-eye-powers (Su).  Prodding the astrological-fate-powers will be ineffective.  Inhibit the divine-network-birds of Su (owls).  The activation of the harbor will reveal the Controllers (Su and Selene).  Form-manifestations can lack the eyes-of-fate's (planet's) motivation.  Involve the attendants (owls) with the instigation of those considerations.
  3. Don't manifest those pushing the eyes-of-fate's omens.  Fertility-fluids reveal Ayu.
  4. Push-away the eagle-vultures with Su. Involvement of the attendants (owls) can involve the astrological-fate-power's manifestations.

Chapter 4 - Avoid the Astrology-Magic of Su (the Moon-Eye)

  1. The Moon-Eye (Su):  Astrology-magic can result in revelations.  The divine-motion-realm can reassign Yahu's (E') detachments.  Emotion-owl involvement can resist manifestations of that. Prodding correlates with the eagle-vultures making-openings.
  2. Shouldn't we be.
  3. Emotionally-empowering those Thu-powers for Ayu's eagle-vultures.  Showing-affection.  Su can reassign those Thu-powers to Ayu's eagle-vultures. Alu can inhibit the pressure on Ayu's revelations.
  4. Expelling the divine-network-bird's eagle-vultures because of that.  The Controllers (Su, Selene) result Thu-powers for that. Nourish and reveal the Instigator (Thu).
  5. Do not the revelations of Ayu anoint the boundary for those high-motion-powers?

  2. Ayu's eagle-vultures are ineffective.  Prodding the revelations of Ayu's eagle-vultures is ineffective.  The manifestations of the life-channels are being redirected. Revealing the redirection can reassign them.
  3. Involve the attendants (owls and eagle-vultures). Emotion-powers (Awen) can reassign the ineffective harboring.  Don't manifest Hu with the Instigator (Thu).  The scarcity of the network-bird's eagle-vultures is a result of nourishing Yahu's love. Those astrology-fate-powers are doing that. The prodding of emotionally-triggered eagle-vultures is harboring those fertility-fluids.  Considerations are being manifested. Prodding the revelations of the life-channels can reveal the emotions opened by Ayu's stuffing (life network). Nourish the shepherd's revelations. Show affection. Ayu is lacking effective astrology-magic.

Chapter 8 - Observations On the Motion-Power of Astrology-Magic

The network-bird's eagle-vultures are opening the high-motion-power's astrology-magic to be ineffective. Don't consider making stormy the openings of those sticky-powers of the harbor (rain making sky shell). The Moon-Eye (Su) is not prodding the Revealer (Kate/Hekate) to inhibit the network-birds of Su (owls).

  4. Opening the high-motion-power's astrology-magic to be ineffective? Manifesting Yahu's pressure to result in that? Opening the high-motion-power's astrology-magic to be ineffective? Manifesting those reassignments to result in that?
  5. The Moon-Eye can open the high-motion-power's astrology-magic to be ineffective.  Manifestations can consider those. Monitor those astrology-fate-powers. Involvement makes ineffective the stickiness of the eagle-vultures. The network-birds can transport-water for Ayu. Opening the activity has been fate-cursed by ineffective manifestations.

  7. Loving Thu. Yahu (E') is being foreshadowed. Opening Thu can emotionally-empower its astrology-magic.  Opening the high-motion-power's astrology-magic can be ineffective.
  8. Selu/Selene makes ineffective the considerations (focused emotions used in emotion magic). Revealing the Supervisor's (Su) emotions is not revealing Hu's ineffectiveness.
  9. Emotions can nourish the boundary-powers.  Nourishments can be shepherded by the omens.  Nourishments can be channeled by Hu. Prodding can open it's starvation. The Moon-Eye (Su) can manifest the fate-curses which are revealing ineffectiveness.  The network-bird's authorizations make-ineffective Ayu's eagle-vulture revelations.
  10. Opening the high-motion-power's astrology-magic can be ineffective. Emotionally-coercing the life-channels is lacking the eye's-of-fate's (stars and planets) motivations. Revelations which are starved make ineffective Su.  Is not the control of the fertility-fluids a result of that? Manifesting anger does not emotionally-coerce Hu's energy for revealing the Reed-Boat (Ayu).
  11. Opening the high-motion-power's astrology-magic can be ineffective. Emotionally-coercing the omens can resulting in Su prodding of eagle-vultures.  Revelations (of the omens) can emotionally-trigger those Woman-powers (Ayu). The network-birds are being made ineffective by the astrology-fate-powers involving the boundary. Revelations are resulting in ineffectiveness. Involvement with the high-motion-powers are lacking. Involvement with Ayu can reveal the fertility-fluids being sieved by them. The network-bird's attacks are making-ineffective those woman-powers. The Woman (Ayu) is grouping Ayu's nourishments.
  12. Prodding can shed that astrology-magic shepherding Hu's eagle-vultures monitored by the Controllers (Su and Selene). Fertility-fluids are being made ineffective by the omens. Pushing-away the splinters (unneeded threads of the life network) can involve revealing Ayu.
  13. Lack of control:  Shedding the shepherd's emotions is revealing motivations. Nesting makes ineffective the moon-eye's (Su) manifestations. Emotionally-coercing the stickiness can confuse involvement.

  1. Opening the high-motion-power's astrology-magic can be ineffective.  The manifestations of Yahu (E') can manifest that. Emotional-triggers:  The pasture's (star filled night sky) eagle-vultures are making those stormy. The moon-eye's eagle-vultures are a result of stickiness. Manifestations of Yahu are a result of that pressure.
  2. * The divine-motion-powers can involve the storm-powers. The Moon-Eye (Su):  Prod the Moon-Eye.  Blockages can open confusion.
