Runestone From The Court of Ash Trees (Corte do Freixo), Almodóvar, Portugal

(September 4, 2023) This half stele was found on a plot of land (court) originally named for a clump of ash trees which grew there. "Freixo means "ash." Almodovar is in the district of Beja. The following is a quote from a Portuguese paper (Paco and all, 1965) describing its discovery (translated by google translate):
