(December 16, 2024, updated September 2, 2025) Macalister reports that the cave of Cruachu at Rathcroghan is a natural rock fissure to which a drystone masonry porch in the style of a souterrain has been added. Two of the lintel stones in this structure bear Ogham inscriptions. This first one is near the entrance.
