Rathcroghan Cave 1 Ogham Stone 12, County Roscommon, Ireland
(December 16, 2024, updated September 2, 2025) Macalister reports that the cave of Cruachu at Rathcroghan is a natural rock fissure to which a drystone masonry porch in the style of a souterrain has been added. Two of the lintel stones in this structure bear Ogham inscriptions. This first one is near the entrance.

- Omens from astrology-magic will open the Supervisor (Hu). The Moon-Eye (Su) will result in fertility-fluids.
- Confusion is not the same as angry-chaos from astrology-magic.
Comment: The Supervisor is the sun and rainstorm god Hu. Opening Hu will result in rain for the crops. This text is stating such an opening can be done with astrology magic. The author excuses its lack of success by claiming that sometime astrology-magic causes confusion among the divine powers but that this confusion is not the same as anger.
