Ancient Druid Priests and Magic-Crafters

The mage in today's popular imagination. The Romans mentioned the magic classes of the northern peoples as Druid, Ovate (Vate) and Bard. The Vates are directly mentioned in the Druid Akkadian texts while the words "Druid" and "Bard" are short Akkadian phrases which was the pattern for the classical era and later.

(August 15, 2025) Macalister reports that this stone was split down the middle with the lower fragment leaning against the wall dividing the field containing stone 57.

Vate In Ballyknock Ogham Stones 87 and 88 County Cork, Ireland 500-1100 CE

(August 4, 2025) Macalister reports that stone 87 is clayslate 4′ 2″ × 1′ 2″ × 0′ 8″. Its inscription on the right angle was difficult to decipher as it was scratched in the barest pin scrapes and subsequently suffered from weather-wear.

Stone 88 is grit 4′ 4 1/2″ × 1′ 11″ × 0′ 8″.

False-influences are being considered. Considerations of fertility-fluids (life-powers) can celestially-fate-shift. Yahu/Yahweh (Y') can inhibit the life-network-birds and fate-curses.

Comment: Vates (weavers) are the Druid priestly class which do astrology magic to affect the life network birds (owls and eagle-vultures/griffons) to edit (weave) the life network's threads/channels. Considerations are the focused feelings of emotion and astrology magic.
