Tunwinni Stone Showing Druid to Celtic-Christian Transition 700 CE
(November 9, 2025) This is a very important text because it is from a time when society was changing from Druidry to Celtic Christianity. This text shows that Celtic Christianity was seen as a movement promoting Druid life powers and being antagonistic to all Druid emotion/motion powers. This conflict had long existed in Druidry with different regions leaning one way or the other. Israel, from the earliest texts, had been a supporter of the life powers. This sort of Christianity existing within the Druid worldview would be suppressed with the arrival of the Normans who enforced the alien Roman Catholic orthodoxy.
The Tunwinni stone was found in 1911 when the plaster was being stripped from the walls of the church at Urswick. Professor W.G. Collingwood dated the stone to between 850 - 870 AD.
The church at Urswick is a Grade I listed structure and officially dates to the 13th century. The earliest parts of the building appear to be the tower and the Chancel dating to just after the Norman invasion of 1066. The Nave and the vestry date from a 14th century extension of the church.

- Openings will fate-shift the network-birds equalizing the fertility-fluids. Pain will not be revealed. Don't emanate the Greaser (Thu).

Comment: Line 1 is a statement against mixing astrology-magic and emotion magic with the life powers represented by the sun and storm god Hu. Both of these belong to the motion/emotion class of powers. Line 2 is stating that the life powers ability to make a path through the life network is all that is needed to bring the fertility-fluids (life-powers) to earth. Those fertility-fluids do not need to be pushed by the motion/emotion powers. In line 3, the dark new moon god Su is associated with astrology-magic. Doing any sort of magic will cause fear among humans and this will block the life powers from the earth. Line 4 states that devotion to a deity, presumably a life-power deity, will overcome any sort of motion/emotion power from magic. Line 5 states that the openings through the life network made by the life powers will control the network birds which edit the network connections, often under the control of the motion/emotion powers. Thu is the deity associated with emotion magic.
