(March 29, 2026) Macalister reports that this inscription was found on a small bronze strip 3 4/5" long by 1/2 wide. It was found while excavating a mound on this townland. The antiquities found within it were of such a heterogeneous nature that they must have been by chance in the earth before it was heaped up as they could not possibly have been contemporary elements of one single archaeological group.
The object is now in the collection of the Royal Irish Academy, housed in the National Museum.
