(October 22, 2025) Macalister reports that this stone was found in a souterrain (public root cellar) close to the western boundary of the Coleraine and Portstewart Reservoir. This souterrain consists of 3 chambers with transverse passages. In the 2nd of these chambers this stone was being used as a roofing-stone. It was found by Mr. W. A. Lindsay, who explored the structure.
It is made of basalt being 3' 10" x 1' 0" x 1' 0"
