Etruscan Ritual Bowl Text

(October 9, 2023) Letter assignments by Olmsted.  This so called signature on a cup fragment was found in the Etruscan City of Vulci in 1848. The cup is dated to between 550 and 500 BCE based on its pottery style. The letter style is Aegean but it is one of the first written in the Greek/Latin direction of left to right.
